MARCH 28/09 //
MILITANT WORKERS: DIRECT ACTION BLOC
'Put People First' Anti-G20 demonstration, 11am Central London

As the financial crisis has spurred a global economic recession the reality of the situation is being faced by us all – price hikes and wage cuts, job losses, spiralling debt and repossessions. The institutions of government and global finance are making us pay for their mistakes, giving themselves hefty bonuses for the privilege. As big banks get billions of our money to bail them out, the Post Office is threatened with privatisation and mass redundancies to claw back the pension hole! Government and bosses, while protecting their own interests, are steadily losing their grip as the anger of the working class becomes more and more apparent after a decade of enforced 'social peace'.

Putting working class anger first
The recent wildcat strikes at the Lindsay Oil Refinery saw workers take action for themselves, without union backing. Thousands of workers across the country walked out in sympathy strikes – a practice still outlawed under the Thatcherite anti-trade union laws. No repercussions were suffered by the workers - a lesson to us all. And although we oppose such slogans as “British Jobs for British Workers”, we do not dismiss the experiences, anger and positive action of those workers to develop a pro-working class position, based not on capitalism's demands for inter-worker competition, but on international class solidarity.
If we want social change we must fight without prejudice for it.

Solidarity is not a word but a weapon

Our purpose is to put direct action at the core of any fightback - against the repossessions and redundancies that we will face over the coming months and years, to restate our commitment for an international unity amongst all working class people regardless of nationality, race, sexuality or religion. We stand shoulder to shoulder with all those who take direct action against their current situation (against the state and its institutions, against the bosses and the capitalism they cling to), and confront those who seek to hinder or recuperate that action - fascist parties like the BNP, government forces, the trade union elite and the corporate media. The memory of the miners strike, Wapping, Poll tax lingers long and hard.
2009 is our summer of rage - we are only as strong as the power we give ourselves.

Join the direct action bloc on the Put People First mass demonstration on Saturday March 28th. Meet in Victoria Embankment Gardens, 11am. Look for the red and black flags.

APRIL 1/09 // RECLAIM THE MONEY
Meet in the Square Mile (London's Financial centre) to take back what's ours

World leaders, including Barak Obama, are set to meet at Docklands Excel Centre in London's East End, for the G20 financial summit on April 2nd, to sort out the global crisis they themselves conspired to create. While unemployment escalates along with debt and poverty - we are told to tighten our belts, not to complain, to have faith in bankers, bosses and politicians, these leaders are preparing the biggest shake up in the history of capitalism since the 1930s. We can only imagine what is on offer as their solution - from the people that brought us wars in Afghanistan, Iraq and Palestine, from the heads of economies that continue to concentrate the world's wealth in the hands of a tiny minority from the obscene rich and powerful who continue to steal the products of our labour and time, forcing us to fight amongst ourselves for what's left.

We are living in uncertain, dangerous times, where we can either allow our futures, and the future of our children, to be decided by the same class of people that have brought us into this crisis (and continue to profit from our misery) or we can decide to get rid of the lot of them and organise society differently - for our own benefit and of the benefit of those around us; those we work with, those we live with, for a future based on our collective needs.

We are their crisis
Let's make this a chance for a fundamental change in society. Let's reclaim the history of working class struggle for a new free world, for a global human community fit for all, not the undeserving rich elite who are happy to see our lives ruined if it means that they stay in charge and at the top.

Join thousands of disgruntled, angry, pissed off people on the streets of the financial district. As the bankers continue to cream off billions of pounds of our money let's put the call out – RECLAIM THE MONEY, storm the banks and send them packing.
April 1st in the square mile, City of London financial district

APRIL 2/09 // G20 London Summit, Excel Centre, Docklands
A day of fucking up the summit and other adventures. Be warned. Be aware. Be ready!

ken drake () - 22 03 09 - 02:52

You know i just watched an episode of the twilight zone on tv that i think everybody else would here would love it
it’s called “the obsolete man” Having to do with the controlling power of the state.

so none of you have to look it up:

Blak-Toothgrin - 22 03 09 - 03:12

Sorry for the grammar errors, i’m kind of tired.
Blak-Toothgrin - 22 03 09 - 03:14

BTG: great episode! loved it, kind of brought be back to my childhood. good points made.
A.O.C. - 22 03 09 - 10:08

Thought you would like it.
Kind of 1984’ish ain’t it?
Blak-toothgrin - 22 03 09 - 10:11

that was a good episode and this article is right direct action is needed from the woring class
jon () - 22 03 09 - 21:20

sorry about the spelling error
jon () - 22 03 09 - 21:20

is there a specific demographic that represents working class?
ummichas () - 23 03 09 - 10:10

i dont think so but maybe those who are not rich and have to work for a living rather than having everything handed to them. i dont know for sure but i’ll look it up.
jon () - 23 03 09 - 15:17

F**k the New World Order global enslavement
Ray - 23 03 09 - 15:39

If anyone gets a chance, please punch Steven Harper, Prime Minister of Canada, in the face for me. OOh, even better, hit him in the face with a cream pie. That happened to one of his predisesors, who was from a different party. It would be awsome!

-Comrad Canuck
C.C - 23 03 09 - 17:04

Whats so bad about that dude?
What did he do?
Blak-Toothgrin - 24 03 09 - 05:02

thank the gods for minority gov’t, eh CC?
ummichas () - 24 03 09 - 11:20

i couldnt find any demographic for the working class and what did the prime minister of canada
jon () - 24 03 09 - 15:58

i find that the term working class is relative, and it frustrates the context of our dialogues. it sounds like commie talk to me. revolution, same damn thing, a leader pops up to capitalize on the vacuum, then same problem – cap/com unism. viva la direct action?!?
ummichas () - 25 03 09 - 00:03

WATCH OUT ****

As you are all informed i am sure, just wanted to say that there will be de-stabilizers (undercover cops) withing the protesters willing them on to get violent, or to destroy shit, this is to allow the police to close in and arrest everyone.

If you are 100% peacefull and make it a rule for everyone the destablising police will show themselfs.

Remember you are trying to change the way things are – not the way they handle you. apparently anyone with agressive behaviour will be classed as a terrorist and therefore be subject to the new terror laws ( detainment – arrest – removal )

The law has changed!!!
joe () - 25 03 09 - 07:03

For the sake of future refrence, I am frustrated at Steven Harper because of his strong push towards large, corrupt governments. Not only that, he holds power because his party got the largest single number of votes, not the majority. Like, 45, 47% or so.
C.C - 25 03 09 - 08:55

I am canadian and i also hate stephen harper but him not having a majority betters the chance for more opinions to surface and perhaps happen wouldn’t it CC?
Boipuso () - 25 03 09 - 10:34

so in that twilight episode truth and logic is represented by religion…? odd..

but on another note, im curious.. at what point in talk of revolution does it become illegal?
Luke - 25 03 09 - 23:05

I have a question for everyone that’s not related to this topic, but I have no where else to post this so here goes. We as decent humans promote peace and an end to wars, while America is spending billions on bombs when we have starving children dying each hour.

Aside from starving children, what about those who are in poverty because of their own governments? If we are promoting peace, what should be done about those in need of help from their own people? Do we stand by and do nothing, or do we take action?

I’ve been thinking about how our world is shaped, namely at how we are controlled by corporations who look to profit from the less fortunate. While I still think America is a decent country to live in (sure beats the desert with no food or water) we definitely need some changes. If we were to change our country to promote peace and an end to war, how do we go about those in other countries who are ruled by corruption themselves? I don’t think we are the only country to blame for the misfortunes of the people.

-Stan
Stan () - 26 03 09 - 14:47

i would like to sat that half of you talk of nonsense i (am thinking this is pointless) dont waste time spamming
have a meaning make a change try solar panels dont let oil rule you
ken drake () - 26 03 09 - 15:39

First event like this, any tips?
Joe Naitsri () - 26 03 09 - 17:08

Tip: look at the article below under Know Your Enemy. Do not tell anyone if you were a part of the bloc at a later date. Anonymity is an anarchists best friend. Wear two light material sewatshirts, some of the police will use paint ball guns to mark you during and arrest you afterwards. this way you can strip a layer off to remove the mark. ooohhh yeah and shin guards are a plus, they shoot hard rubber batons at the ground in hopes of taking out your legs.
A.O.C. - 27 03 09 - 01:28

Is it necessary to be so bitter against the state. I would say that the world is already in a financial crisis, however economies are cyclical and recessions will eventually happen as companies that are relatively weak get bigger than they should be.
I know that the bankers have ciphered off riduculous amounts of cash, and that angers me. It also angers me how governments only seem to protect the rich and nothing gets done in this world unless there is some benefit. I mean there are genocides going on today that make Suddam Hussains Iraq look heavenly, but there’s no intervention.
However we must also look at our own nature. This crisis started with the large scale defaulting on loans, loans that the banks and the debitors knew they couldn’t manage. So perhaps those who took out ridiculous loans are partly to blame.
Perhaps people should not resort to violence and aggressive protest but look at how the whole of society had become entranced by a society of greed and wealth.
Your protests in London will cost a lot of money to police and endanger the businesses within the area, they will also frighten many innocents (including the police).

I am due to be a father in 6 months and I don’t want my child growing up in a world like this, I want change too, but maybe instead of marching on the banks, march to westminster, to parliament and demand an election, after all this is supposedly a democracy.
Daniel - 27 03 09 - 03:05

This tirade sounds like a load of egotistic bullshit to me.
Asterix - 27 03 09 - 05:50

Don’t worry about G20 or anything else, the Lib Dems have it all sorted, they are going to allow female first borns to become Queen and the kings and queens to marry catholics….........so thats ok, this huge issue affects about two people every 100 years, Lib Dems relevant as ever.
Vexed Foxy - 27 03 09 - 06:58

Daniel, how can you say to not be bitter at the state, then start pointing out thier faults.
As far as the loans went, why should the people have to bail out a business for making out financial fuck ups, no one bails us out when we make poor decisions. We still have to file for bankruptcy. Where do you think the bailout money is going to come from? Regardless of what system you currently live in they are all parasitic in nature, always syphoning from the bottom.
They are responsible for the current economic dilemma right now, not us.

Elections are bullshit in todays society. Those in power hold elections to give the have-nots the illusion that they have a choice and a say in the matter. What good is demanding another election? They would just get another figure head in there that is easy to mold, because like all politicians, they only have self interest at heart.

If you are giong to bring a child into this world, and you want change, do somthing about it. Fuck slaping on another temporary bandage on the problem and saying let the next generation deal with it. With each generation that passes we loose more and more control. Our childern are being fed all this propagated bullshit and are being trained to be good little consumer nationalists through mass media and the educational systems.
You should be outraged sir.
A.O.C. - 27 03 09 - 09:45

have you ever stopped to think that its the owners of these banks you should be targeting not the employees?! what have they done apart from accept the money they are given, and honestly, who the hell wouldnt accept a few extra grand a year?!? most of these bankers have families to support so it would be ludicrous for them not to. maybe they should also think about whos supplying them with their fucking lifeline in benefits cause these dirty peasants are too fucking lazy to work for a living!! thats the crazy thing, without these bankers shelling out a stupid amount of their earned wages each year these bovine tramps would be fucking homeless and starving. instead their carrying on their pathetic, torpid little lives living off the state…... so if any of you dirty little communists even thinks about hurting any of my loved ones in this pathetic protest i will personally rip your fucking heads off myself!!
emma - 27 03 09 - 15:46

fuck sakes potty mouth emma

any one who works for a power that controls the masses should be targeted
i say bomb a bank and shoot any cop you see
ken () - 27 03 09 - 17:14

ken that’s the wrong answer. The hard part about this is that it’s always easy to blame the “state” or the “corporation” without realizing that there are innocent people working for them who are just trying to provide for their families.

In support of emma, there are thousands of workers for AIG who were promised bonuses to keep them on the staff, in an effort to help fix the problem (or so they were told). Long story short, the employees could have left AIG in search for other jobs had they known the pay would have been revoked, however they chose to stay because the LEADERS of that corporation lied to them.

The bonuses paid to the employees shouldn’t be touched, it’s the execs that should have theirs returned.

What I really can’t understand is why the media is having a field day with AIG over 185 million dollars, when we’ve already sent billions over to France, Germany, and a few other countries in the EU. People lose sight of money flow, and think in terms of perspective rather than the whole picture. 185 million really isn’t that much in comparison to tens of billions.

What I’m more concerned with at the moment is my college money after leaving the service. We can up the financial aid to Pakistan three fold to help aid with the “terrorism problem” as Obama says, but we can’t spend a few billion on our veterans who served in the war?

It’s an entrapment: deprive your soldiers, but give them just enough so they have to stay in the system. I’m telling you right now if I don’t get my money I’m fucking starting a rage riot on the president’s front lawn.

- Stan
Stan () - 27 03 09 - 18:51

sweetheart, bomb a bank that either my dad or boyfriend is in and i will shoot you. pure and simple.
maybe you should try and put yourself in my position and think about how you would feel if someone was threatening your family. you shouldn’t be bitter at people who have more money than you because they have worked to get where they are. people like you are the eptimone of a country which believes that everyone deserves to be rewarded the same amount no matter how hard they work. if you think your so hard off, try working in a country which pays you pittance for slaving away in horrendous conditions 13-14 hours a day, and thats without getting free healthcare or council housing. only then perhaps would you sit back and realise how lucky you really are.
so, fine, go ahead and protest next week, but i am warning you if you even try and hurt anyone i care about, then it is going to get REALLY ugly.
emma - 28 03 09 - 06:49

It already is ugly Emma. And i dont mean harm towards your loved ones.
If i act (IF) Ill leave a note warning them to leave.
As for cops target them if you can. They are just helping capatalism win.
Not every one is innocent (look at me ) in others eyes i have intent to harm
Mine is the right harm that may free others if im helped
ken () - 28 03 09 - 07:40

Hey, LET’S TARGET COPS, because all of them are bad. That would be like targeting soldiers for helping the U.S. Army. I swear to god if you ever fucking think about doing something like that, where nearly everyone here is hating the Army and hating life, and is completely innocent of your accusations, far worse things will happen than death.

Cops are no different. They are men and women with families who are more than likely trying to help their community. But hey, let’s target them because they’re an instrument! So when the electric company makes a mistake on your bill, do you go irate on the guy who checks your meter? Do you fucking kill him? Or do you take it up with THOSE IN CHARGE.

I can’t believe how some people think they are right, when in fact they couldn’t be more wrong. Fucking unbelievable.
Stan () - 28 03 09 - 07:56

please do not try and get clever with me. bombing anywhere is a disgusting and serious act which you are being disturbingly indifferent about.
and darling if you think it is ugly now, you have NO IDEA what i will do if my family is hurt or god forbid worse.
and in response to stan, i agree with you completely. my best friends dad is a policeman and will be involved on wednesday. he was also involved in the 7/7 bombings and if it wasnt for people like him many of those who were seriously hurt down there would now be dead. as will the bankers if there isnt a police force to protect them. its ridiculous, the people who are handing you money out of their own pockets every year (bankers) and the ones who so often risk their lives to protect you (policeman) are the people you target. if you think that by taking innocent peoples lives you are HELPING others, you are seriously deluded. did the 9/11 terrorists do any good or help others by killing yet more innocents? no. they initiated a war. violence is not the answer and anyone with any sort of education would see that. i would take to violence without a second thought in protection of my family or friends, but not over something so pathetic as this. your only going to aggravate the state more and make things worse for yourself at the end of the day. i suggest you seriously think before you take action, and contemplate just how many peoples lives you will REALLY be destroying.
emma - 28 03 09 - 08:53

Then Whats Your Idea?
ken () - 28 03 09 - 09:32

Accept that things are not so bad the way they are, for you at least. There are children starving right now who are a lot worse off than you but never complain about their situation. Or maybe these protesters could think about getting decent jobs themselves so that they dont feel so resentful towards those who work hard for their money.
emma - 28 03 09 - 09:49

Emma Why The Hell Are You Even Here
Leave Us To Our Dreams You Oppressive Fool
Me Ill Find A Way To Make Change
You Will Probably Get In The Way I Guess
Enjoy Being Targeted As A Sheep
ken () - 28 03 09 - 10:09

Haha, what an intelligent response. I’m here to protect my family and also because I’m fed up of people complaining that theyre so hard up when its theyre own faults to begin with; thinking they should get a fair share when they just sit around on their asses all day. If you think you are going to change the world on your own you have your head in the clouds sweetheart. This is exactly what happened in the 60’s and 70’s, a load of tramps thinking they could ‘change the world’. Did they? Did they fuck. And me targeted as a sheep? Haha, i think you’ll find that will be you. I hope the police destroy you you pathetic little man. At the end of the day your dreams are just that. Dreams. Start living in the real world sunshine and realise that, suprisingly, if you want something, you have to work for it.
emma - 28 03 09 - 11:42

I Will growls
and why am i Sweetheart?
im glad you love me
All Sheep Do
ken () - 28 03 09 - 12:08

Hows the family?
Emma in the end life equals up to what you have influenced
If ive made changes in the world ive meant something.
Let me guess? You think your very important do you In your own small world?
I love your persistence on this blog but really go make me some brownies mom!!
Sweetheart!!!!!!
laughs
ken () - 28 03 09 - 12:13

Oh god, your so pathetic and childish it makes me laugh. You know deep down that at the end of the day the higher classed, higher educated will always keep on winning.
Your fighting a losing battle.
I do not think I am important, but I know I’m a far better person than you’ll ever be.e
emma - 28 03 09 - 12:28

So im childish?
look at your self? If im so childish and pathetic why even pay attention to me then
As i said before go be a sheep elsewhere
this site is meant for changes not the same damn thing
All anarchists seek change and it seems you dont
Go do something else sheep woman
ken () - 28 03 09 - 14:56

So ken your plan in life is to make something of yourself and make an impact in society by killing innocent people? If you had any ounce of brains you’d know that a house is brought down from its foundation.

Stop being a kid. I think you’re the kid who needs something to fight for, but is unsure of where to turn, so he uses his own self problems to fuel his rage for his own self pity, which in turn is directed at those more fortunate than himself.

Try working hard to raise money so you can help the starving people in africa. ANYONE can be part of a riot. What makes YOU different?
Stan () - 28 03 09 - 19:10

I SHOULD HAVE A CHARITY COOKOUT WITH LEFTOVERS FROM A SUPERMARKET
id fight too things one starvation and two wasting resources
any one want to help me do that?
and yes i support violence aingainst the government As any effort is good effort to me
ken () - 28 03 09 - 19:15

damn you stan i bet you dont do a damn thing do you???
ken () - 28 03 09 - 19:16

Hurting people is not the answer, it never is. That would make us no better than those that have been fucking us. People need to wake the fuck up and pay more attention to the world around them. The people inside the banks are not the problem, granted they are assisting the machine, they are still people striving to put food on the table.
People need to be educated on world wide problems and how these issues affect us and our future. The problem is that most people live in the here and now, without understanding the ramifications of decisions being made by the higher up’s. The system is set up to fuck the middle and lower class very slowly. Capitalism is a pyramid scheme and anarchism proposes a level playing field. As long as capitalism reigns supreme, anarchism will persist and remain a threat to those in power.
P.S. To the reporters who keep asking for an interview, I am a writer for the site who was informed and pushed that info through to others. Stop flooding me with emails, I will not respond.
A.O.C. - 28 03 09 - 19:39

Don’t do what ken? Yes, let me protest with my brethren, and wave anti-american flags and shout anti-American propaganda while I am still a service member. That would last long ROFL

- Stan
Stan () - 28 03 09 - 19:46

why the hell are you serving anyway?
ken () - 28 03 09 - 19:54

Because at the time I wanted to serve my country. I was a strong patriot, strong conservative, and strong American. I stood up and became a man the day I signed my contract. That’s a hell of a lot more than anyone else my age (22) can say, who are still in college, boozing it up, and thinking of nobody else but themselves.

I wanted to fight and die so people like you can live in freedom. I joined with all the right intentions. Can anyone else say they actually acted on a belief they had?

Anyone?

-Stan
Stan () - 28 03 09 - 19:58

By the way, I gave up a $120,000 a year job just to be here, in the Army. I wanted it THAT bad.

-Stan
Stan - 28 03 09 - 19:59

i feel bad for you
ken () - 28 03 09 - 20:42

No I feel bad for you ken because you obviously are still a kid and haven’t had a chance to experience what life is about. How do you know you hate Capitalism and this country when you have no experience with it?

Are you ready to kill for something you don’t understand?

-Stan
Stan () - 28 03 09 - 20:51

yep sure am
ken () - 28 03 09 - 21:07

im done with this site stan depressed me ill go be my emo self again bye bye anarchy cries
ken () - 28 03 09 - 21:12

im sorry im so gay
stan () - 28 03 09 - 21:20

hey stan,
with all due respect, don’t you think that by fighting in iraq you’re just helping to perpetuate the cycle of violence/hatred between the middle east/westerners?
anna - 28 03 09 - 23:27

what a sad thread. just like everything else. lead by example. obviously there are too many people in kens life that enable him to carry on in this manner. ken, your attitude isn’t useful. find yourself a mentor to hold yourself accountable within your social network. the only violence you should be worrying about is what is going on in your head. try changing your perception. that’s all i can say about this.
ummichas () - 28 03 09 - 23:38

G-20! Refuse Lula, the zoophile President of Brazil! He supports pedophilia and child prostitution! Save the Children!
Bhikshuni Ariya () (URL) - 30 03 09 - 09:22

We gotta come to some new ideas about life folks ok? I’m not being blase about abortion, it might be a real issue, it might not, doesn’t matter to me. What matters is that if you believe in the sanctity of life then you believe it for life of all ages. That’s what I hate about this child-worship syndrome going on. "Save the children! They’re killing children! How many children were at Waco? They’re killing children!" What does that mean? They reach a certain age and they’re off your fucking love-list? Fuck your children, if that’s the way you think then fuck you too. You either love all people of all ages or you shut the fuck up.
Justin () - 31 03 09 - 00:23

The thing with children is that they’re innocent. They have done nothing wrong to deserve any of the punishment the world is about to give them.

Pedophiles are the worst kind of offenders, because they kill the children mentally when they are young, which screws them up their entire lives. They’re essentially dead, and to me, that’s worse than being murdered to begin with.
James - 31 03 09 - 12:20

hey ken i think your right violence could and would work it there was enough support but everyone keeps talking about the damn problems and not acting and emma the high classed and higher educated dont always win have you ever heard of the french revolution peasants who were not educated overthrew their government and made a new one. And i have a question for you emma why do you care if a few people die for freedom from government im pretty sure you wouldnt do anything important for the cause any way. and i hope someone does a bomb a ban maybe then the world would wae up and take us seriously
jon () - 31 03 09 - 19:25

Yes your right there James.
Justin () - 31 03 09 - 23:07

jon I think you are expecting people to bow down and let anarchy take over. You must realize that the majority DOES NOT want it. You promoting violence would be futile.
James - 01 04 09 - 05:19

it may be futile but what else are we anarchists gonna do. and yes you might say nonviolent and peaceful protests but that wont work either so what are we to do? and i dont expect people to bow down and let anything takeover anarchy would not be taking over since it is not a government and if we believe that no government is right we cant just say were anarchists on a webpage im suggesting we do something big like what they did in london but in america
jon () - 02 04 09 - 20:04

ken thinks emma is an idiot.
emma thinks ken is an idiot.

I would just like to point out that they are both twats with equally ignorant, although different viewpoints.
what we are dealing with here seems to be less about political philosophy and more about a petty class war, a lack of intellectual understanding of anarchism and threats of despicable violence.

proudhon is surely rolling in his grave regarding the petty forums and schoolboy anarchy of this age.

it is people like you ken that are giving are movement a bad name which it is trying to shake off. violence is a tool of fascist and capitilist governments in a ploy to control and terroise people for capital gain, and if anarchists use violence it makes them just as bad as the system they are fighting against.although i do condone certain nesscescary violence and self defence, the violence to which you are referring is unjust , chaotic and certainly not nesscecary.

and i say to you emma that anarchists (apart from maybe ken) are’nt a bunch of lazy, mohawked scroungers. many of us have jobs and families and work very hard to support ourselves whilst struggling for social change in a system that is constantly fucking us over as working class people making us involuntarily redundant, exposeing us to dangers within the work place, paying us a unequal wage compared to that of our bosses and refuseing us the right to organize and manage amongst ourselves as workers.

and as to all this ‘higher educated’ bullshit emma, have you ever thought that many working class people either can’nt afford or refuse to pay for university tuition fees, and would rather not waste there time learning about the ins-and-outs of buissness management or accountancy. however that in no way means that we are not clever, intelligent and free thinking people and throwing around terms like ‘higher educated’ is just another way for middle and upper class people to insult and degrade the working class and make people of “higher status” feel superior.

the respectable and intellectual political philosophy of anarchism is under attack from ignorant people (like ken)who claim to part of the movement yet have no understanding of it and cause futher confusion about it’s principles by spamming forums, futhering the myths that anarchists are violent chaotic punks.

so please friends(and i use the word friends not comrades, in case anyone gets the image of me as a politically confused teenage rebel without a cause wearing a che guevera t-shirt to piss off parents even though not knowing who that shitehead che really was or what he did) can we not have an intelligent disscussion without threats of violence or misinformed remarks.
J.C - 03 04 09 - 00:20

what is wrong with violence can you tell me?
jon () - 05 04 09 - 14:31

if our movement uses violence then who is to say that an intentional anarchist community won’nt transgress into fascism. considering class war’s call to “burn a banker” is as bad as a nazi slogan to “burn a jew”, does the anarchist community really want to end up with a holocaust where we put bankers and police to death.

it’s alll good and well having fantasist visions of a violent revouloution but when you have really been in the heat of violence you will see how it causes nothing but hurt to all those involved and ruins lives.

violence is a disease in society and it is something, as an anarchist to which i am opposed, because as an anarchist i believe that are current government is disgustingly violent and that is what i am fighting against.

i dream of an anarchist society is mutually co-operative society that functions PEACEFULLY and if violence is used to create this society then that very violence is contradicting the very aim in which it set out to achieve.

of course i also beleive that violence is sometimes a nesscessity, but in the case of the G20 summit in which ken speaks of, that violence is not nessesscary and peaceful protest would be a better way to get our point across without being labelled by the media as violent chaotic anarchists.

consider a.o.c’s article on anarchist outreach, if we behave violently then people are going to turn away from anarchism and just see us as a load of violent thugs but if we protest and revolt moderately peacefully then people will be more inclined to join the movement and see what we’re about and personally i beleive anarchist outreach and solidarity to be are most useful and powerful of all weapons. solidarity is not a word but a weapon.

futhermore even if we did use strong violence, it would be a lost cause, as the government would beat us everytime, there bigger, better and more equipped than we are at fighting back, what chance we have against all there police and army and there tactics. not only would the use of violence be immoral, it would be illogical.

i hope that answers your question.
J.C - 06 04 09 - 05:39

as for property damage, like zerzan said in his film ‘surplus’ i don’nt consider it violence and i was very pleased to see the RBS building get smashed up!

although i share this opinion with zerzan, please don’nt think i am a primivitist as i am strongly opposed to there movement. i am a mutualist like proudhon himself and my affiliations will always lie with anarcho-syndcalism or social libertarianism as i prefer it to be called respectively.

we would not lose against the goverenment if we were to all rise up together they couldnt stop us or if that doesnt work guerilla warfare is always an option. and have you heard about the tea partys going on in america?
jon () - 11 04 09 - 19:19

likes tea smiles

anarchy is a beautiful thing

in some people (the strongest of souls) youll notice a natural reaction to order

do not obey them people the system must be defeated

fight
- 11 04 09 - 20:16

anarchists unite!!!
- 11 04 09 - 20:17

to jon i say, you’re right, if we all rise up together we would win! but you’re forgetting that most of todays society do not want or feel the need for change albeit they will not rise up with us and what are you left with… a small pocket of anarchist’s fighting the will of the rest of the nation.

this is what i mean by anarchist outreach, in order for everyone to rise up against the government you first need EVERYONE on your side and at the moment that just isn’nt possible. i mean come on lets face it, most people are perfectly content with there capitalist society and we are a small pocket of people fed up with our lives who feel wronged by the government. are we really winning
