I’ve been a fan of Carlin since I was about 13 years old. He was the first person I was ever exposed to that challenged the system. What I would love to see is some one take Carlin’s stand up and use it as a platform for running for president. Now that would be real fucking CHANGE in american politics. R.I.P. George.

I love using Carlin’s life as a time-line to show how gradual re-education can truly change a person. I invite you all to watch his early comedy, and then compare it to his later work. Hell, I’d get the entire ‘All My Stuff’ compilation boet, but of course you don’t need to do that. But I digress; George Carlin will always be welcome in my thoughts, for his words have left a lasting impact in my mind. He helped me realize that comic relief is a necessary companion to intellect, and I hope no one else ever forgets that.
