Many people speculate that the falling economy is a ruse. Nothing more than a tactic to justify a merger with
Canada and Mexico, thus creating the North American Union. A new form of currency will be issued, The Amero.
This is one step closer to a One World Order. Speculation states for a mid to late 2009 time frame for the American
economy to colapse.

What does this mean to Anarchists? With a One World Order in place, the odds of being able to create an uprising
or a revolt will be slim to nil, as most anarchists agree. There is a silver lining though, with the fall of the
economy, many of middle class citizen's bubbles will burst. Feeling an economic catastrophy will awaken many
from their consumerism comatose. These people will be able to look at the world through a new set of eyes, pure
and simply because the system that they had so much faith in, has failed. The government knows this though, and
are getting prepared.

As of October 1st, troops have been pulled out of Iran and are training for civil unrest and crowd control
here in the states. This information can be axcessed through armytimes.com. Nspd 51 and hspd20 have also taken
effect. Bush can declare a National Emergency (Martial Law) without any concent from congress.

"I hold it, that a little rebellion, now and then, is a good thing, and as necessary in the political world as
storms in the physical." Thomas Jefferson
Letter to James Madison (January 30, 1787); referring to Shays' Rebellion Lipscomb & Bergh

"God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, and always, well informed.
The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive.
If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. ...
What country before ever existed a century and half without a rebellion? And what country can preserve its liberties
if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take
arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a
century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It is its natural manure."
Thomas Jefferson. Letter to William Stevens Smith (November 13, 1787)

Our time could be coming sooner than you think.

These could also be proper cautions taken by the government, strictly because of the upcoming election. Along with the economy burning, there are bound to be some penny pinchers that will rebel for their precious dollar. I see the link between both subjects, however am not scared of one burgade of the army to control an entire country. Our army is way too over-stretched to hold us down. It will be interesting to live in this time of our country’s attempt to rise back to the top.. However we are forever enslaved to china, and thats a whole other debate.

And, so it comes again. The people raped of their wealth through financial means only to be debt holders of unimaginable amounts. Yet, what did our founders fight so hard against? The Currency Act of 1764. Some, such as Benjamin Franklin and Peter Cooper, believed this to be the primary cause of the Revolutionary War.

De-centralize all forms of power.

We need to step out of our corporately made bubbles and realize what is at stake here. We need to realize what is important and what is right. Our lives, our children’s lives all will be affected most by the next few months to years and we all need to "Carpe Diem" in short order.

This is an interesting speculation, which I’m sure has some evidence to back it up but was by no means provided for us to read, nor were we given a direction to look.

So, for evidence, I present this. It is a fact, not a speculation, that oil companies have made record profits for any business, anywhere, any time any the world. Since prices have gone up and profits have been record high, we can thus assert that this is a price gouging. Oil prices were one of the beginning factors to lead into recession.

Then take the sub-prime loans. If this were really so profitable, why did we not see this trend decades ago? Other than that, I don’t see any connections to back up speculation about a NWO argument.

Finally, so far as I am aware, no legislation has made it any distance, or possibly even exists, to establish a NWO. All speculation on this front goes into talks from the executive branch, the existence of the EU (which, if the Lisbon Treaty doesn’t pass (cross your fingers for Northern Ireland) won’t be a threat), the existence of the G8 and G7, the existence of the UN, and the existence of the WTO. While these can be asserted to be mechanisms instituting a NWO, it very much seems that these are serving the faculties they were intended to: to stabilize trade and minimize hostilities between countries who are interacting on a near-instantaneous and global level. Globalization, to a large extent, seems to be a relatively organic (mind you, I agree, corporate organic) process, and methods for stabilizing it in the form of large organizations seems to be a very logical step.

Another piece of evidence that should be taken into account is the NAFTA superhighway, and CAFTA.

So, while we should be prepared for martial law and be prepared to physically fight the institution of a North American Union, we would do much better to act on the level which we have the strongest framework, the most support, and the least hostility: the social level. The authors of this site seem to be working toward it, but it seems to be more of the scathing criticism rather than the constructive theorization and creation of support networks, not to mention having a coherent framework for going about doing so. If we become self-aware, hostile toward mass-media having a controlling/dominating influence, and make it so we have real communities of people greater than the 5 or so anarchists in our local region we may actually know (a point well made one of the more recent postings), we can work to dissolve the roots of centralization, capitalism, hierarchical power, mass-consumption, and globalism to make life a bit more personal.

The sub-prime loan market became profitable after 1999 during the deregulation of the glass-steagal act AKA the gramm-leach-bliley act of 1999. This act allowed the loaning companies to sell their loans to investment banks which sold them ( in tightly wound bundles ) on wall street. They detached the loaning companies ( mostly in the private sector that didn’t fall under the CRA or community re-investment act guidelines ) from the collection companies. This is what made it profitable. Otherwise, the private loaning companies would be out of business a long time ago if all their loans were not being paid off. But, under the 1999 act they could collect the commission off the loan and sell it to an investment bank, which then gambled on the stock market.

As for the U.N., they have done nothing in terms of minimizing tensions or stopping genocide around the world. Wars still happen at the aggressor’s discretion and millions still die through genocide / forced famine’s while the U.N. members sit in their air conditioned building’s throwing around harsh rhetoric. And, isn’t it an objective to minimize such eggregious forms of centralized power when they aren’t carrying out with anything close to a worthwhile mission?

And, as to scathing criticism : I would agree to a certain point that we need to venture out of our finger pointing self-righteous tendencies, however, it is very important that the faults are pointed out and people have the necessary understanding of where we stand before we start devising plans to accomplish our objectives. I take out of these posting’s what is needed to keep marching forward and necessary ammunition for future endeavors. Great post ~
