School spree shootings are the product of the education system, a cesspool designed to breed conformity and uneducation(misinformation). These individuals (or groups) lack the social ability to conform creating a "fatal error", that is becoming more common throughout society as the population grows.
I see the system as an imperfect equation designed to produce: workers, consumers and "perfect" citizens but this equation will produce errors or basically the negative effect they were looking for. Flaws, errors, damaged goods, mutations, anomalies, etc… whatever you want to call it.

It will take more than school shootings to change the course of a society that breeds conformity. In such a society perceived anomalies are easily labeled as irregular and unnatural, and may be ignored or merely broadly deplored without real action. In such a society, citizens do not look for the root of the problem, which in fact lies within the system, but look instead for a way to fix the system with itself. This logic is fundamentally unsound: a failed system cannot be used to correct itself. Anarchy may or may not be the correct path, but the current one is obviously based on unsound reasoning and on the ability of humanity to adapt to any situation. What anarchy has that this society could learn from is a desire to question current realities and change them fundamentally instead of superficially. School shootings may occur because of isolated anomalies of perversity in individuals. It is my belief that society is primarily to blame, if not for causing situations such as these, then for its fear of confronting them and its inability to handle them with insight and vision, as well as a desire to find good and make progress.
