in a collective society every individuals will decide what is and isnt ok. Were someone to resort to murder then it would be my right as an individual to shun him. If I owned a store i could refuse him my product, if I ran a gas station I could refuse him gas so on….. the point is that nothing holds me back from doing anything (including murder) to him. No one said that we can’t punish people.

Also, I disagree with democracy being oppression. This is an “absolute” statement. However, there are situations where this statement could be false. Democracy only oppresses the minority.
Here’s a fact. America isn’t a democracy. We don’t vote for our leader. The Electoral College does. Our government regulates our business and trade in favor of the corporation that gives it the most money. Our government has taken away our rights to speak against it before (See the Sedition Act). Our phones are tapped (See the Patriot Act). Our homes can be searched without warrant (See the nationwide warrant issued by the Supreme Court after the Patriot Act’s passage.) People have been killed for their beliefs (See the Sacco-Vanzetti case.) People have had their homes stoled by the governement (See Eminent Domain). People have been enslaved (See U.S. years before 1850) Japanese-Amaricans have been forced to enter concentration camps (See WWII history). Is this a nation where the people are free?

If the person is clinically insane, they can be treated by professionals and restrained until they are safe to society again.
In anarchy, however, cases of insanity are likely to become less frequent rather than more.

You are right that the ending stage of communism is anarchy, but only in the same way heaven is the ending stage of Christianity (it never fucking happens).

We will get goods directly from producers and cooperatives, and in many cases we will make our own goods.

Everyone on this website (excluding the people coming here to rag on anarchism) want a national anarchism movement on the US government. Even me. Here’s the problem, this website, right? its only here because of the government and big business. Without the kind of infrastructure developed by the two oppressors none of this would even exist. Not that that would keep me from revolting but it is kind of hypocritical. Bite the hand that feeds us (then beats us 5 minutes later). If we were to revolt it would not last long. We would be crushed. Why? We have let the government get too powerful, and if by some far fetched reason we did succeed, what is stopping China, Russia, and all the other super powers from helping our government get reestablished or even stake a claim on US soil. Everyone wants to see America fall, but it is just not possible at this time. With that being said the future look hopeful for anarchists. Look at how our country and all the other countries deal with each other. they are a bunch of freakin’ 4 year olds with nukes and WAY too much firepower. Its only a matter of time before another country does the dirty work for us. China, Russia, Iran, whatever someone is going to start a global war in the next 50 years and make it VERY easy for the anarchist to finally bring the Human Race to its full potential, (after it is reduced to a more manageable size). TRUE FREEDOM FOR ALL. We just need the oil to run out and we are a go for operation FUCK THE GOVERNMENT IN THE ASS!!!!

Anarchy is great philosophy, but this civilisation is still too immature for making great ideas to work in practice. The same problem is with democracy, communism or whatever. People are still too greedy, too selfish, too egoistic to see how their acts influence other people. Great book that explains how true anarchy should work is Aldous Huxley’s – The Island. I agree that we should be the change we want to see in the world. NotGunnaHappen, you say you want it, but can’t have it because there are rules and cops. The rise of anarchy will only come from breaking the rules. The government monitors and modifies what the media puts out there to keep the public in a perpetual cycle of fear of what would happen if there was no government and what would happen to those who try to go against the government. People talk about all the shit they don’t like about what’s going on in the world, but nobody fuckin does anything. People need to start acting upon what they believe. There are many that would join if someone would start it right. If a superpower goes down due to anarchy, the others will be soon to follow from the cycle of fear induced by the government controlled media will be broken and a chain reaction will start. There are many small groups out there that are useless alone, but when united together will be able to produce changes that are only what we all picture anarchy to be like. There are different types of anarchists with slightly different views which can all be talked about and negotiated once the common main objective is completed. Everyone wants the government taken out and it is possible. People need to get out of the mentality “I want to….but I can’t” because yes, alone you can’t. In a group, you can.If united, it will happen.

Introducing myself there is one word to say: I am a proud German Anarchist. Not proud to be a German, there is no reason to be proud to be a German, and I cannot remember having anything done to get a German, cannot remember a situation having been asked: “Do You want to be born as a German, or would You prefer to be born as an Indian or whatever else?” I am only proud to be an Anarchist, and that it is my decision to fight for real justice and real reason. To address the comment(s) made about lawlessness and the resultant "crime" thereof in an anarchic society perhaps it has not been considered that most "criminal behavior" stems from the stress caused by the industrial society in which we live in today. Consumerism has created an artificial need for material items that have no real value, except to serve as surrogate activities that attempt unsuccessfully to quell the unappeased human drive to go through the "Power Process." So when industrial society finally reaches the inevitable point of collapse, and the population has been significantly reduced, those smart enough to disband the rubble of our previous civilization will group in small, self-sufficient communities where the individual can autonomously preserve and prolong his life, hence fulfilling the "Power Process." An excess of useless, material items would make no sense to the satisfied individual and in that sort of setting "crime" would be rendered obsolete.

Most of what is entailed above has been regurgitated from the highly-reasoned, seemingly infallible manifesto "Industrial Society and its Future." Dear Sisters and Brothers! I am very sorry that I cannot read all Your entries because of very short time: The State of FRG is breaking every law and absolutely decided to put me into psychiatrie for the rest of my life because I have encovered murder and abuse of DNA-proof for false sentencing because of murder by German State. Police of Hagen near Dortmund and Landeskriminalamt Nordrhein-Westaflen are directly involved, Justice of Hagen, too. There is no doubt that this things have happened with the agreement of the Ministeries of Justice and of Interior both in Düsseldorf as in Berlin, the German President, Köhler, is informed as well as Chancellors Angela Merkel and many others, but obviously they don´t want to react in a right way.
